Rory took up the post of MD on 1st September 2004, having been with the company for eight years during which time he was responsible for the International Sales, Marketing and Customer Service functions. Rory has a strong marketing and printing industry background and travels widely supporting our UK and international customers.
Michael joined Stephen Austin & Sons in November 1999 and has direct responsibility for all print Production and Production Control at the Hertford factory. He has a print manufacturing and typesetting/data capture background and has been very much involved in recent years in the introduction of new technology.
Joined Stephen Austin & Sons in May 2007 as Client Service Manager. Helen brings a broad range of experience from the commercial world. Having led teams in the book publishing and education sectors prior to joining Stephen Austin, Helen’s role has been to develop the client service offering at Stephen Austin, working in conjunction with the team of experienced Account Managers and Executives. As Sales Director, she continues to be involved with current clients, whilst seeking to develop the sales strategy in order to secure future contracts.
Systems and Compliance Manager
Anne joined Stephen Austin in September 2015 tasked with managing our existing Quality and Environmental standards and with the implementation of new standards into the business, to include Information Security, Anti-Bribery and Business Continuity. Anne specialises in security standards, having spent several years working within the security sector as a Quality and Standards Manager. Anne is also experienced in systems blueprinting and process mapping. Anne is responsible for all compliance related matters at Stephen Austin.
David joined Stephen Austin & Sons in Sept 2015. David brings a broad range of experience from the commercial world. Having led Customer Service teams across Europe, Asia and N. America prior to joining Stephen Austin, David’s role is to focus on the further development of the Client service offering at Stephen Austin, working in conjunction with the team of experienced Account Managers and Executives.

Carol is a Chartered FCIPD HR Professional who combines Senior Leadership experience with a significant track record of delivering operational excellence across all aspects of HR. A strategic thinker, able to lead and influence at all levels. Highly motivated and professional, delivering business goals through appropriate, effective and timely people solutions.
Carol is a member of the Senior Management Team and is a professional and pragmatic HR generalist operating at strategic level with operational experience of managing organisational change and developing talent by redesigning systems and transforming people management practices.
Responsible for all people based activity at Stephen Austin from both an operational and strategic perspective. Carol leads the Human Resource, Learning & Development & Payroll Functions, developing the organisation, resource and talent planning and recruitment; managing a variety of complex ER issues.
Responsible for insuring the Company has the culture to foster collaboration, innovation and human capability that can adapt to change and has the ability and motivation to meet future challenges and exceed business expectations in the future.
