Environment

As a manufacturer we are committed to minimising our impact on the environment and we take considerable steps to achieve this in the way we operate.

We gained registration to Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) in June 2008 and we are delighted to announce that we are accredited to the ISO 14001 standard as of October 2008.

As your partner, we know that you will want to make responsible choices and we can offer guidance on sustainable choices of paper, plastic, ink and processes to suit your needs as well as those of the environment.

Stephen Austin is proud to be a member of Two Sides, an initiative set up by companies in the Graphics Communications supply chain to promote the sustainable production and use of Print and Paper.

Two Sides encourages members to take a proactive stance regarding their environmental impact so that the unique recyclable and renewable qualities of Print and Paper can be enjoyed for generations to come.

At Stephen Austin we recognise our responsibility to continually improve our environmental credentials. We are FSC registered and accredited to ISO 14001 and take considerable steps to reduce the negative environmental impacts of our operations by minimising our waste output and our use of water and energy.
